About Projects of Promise
Projects of Promise is a voluntary, non-profit and non-denominational Christian relief and development agency committed to the relief of poverty and the provision of education and development opportunities for children, families and communities in need in developing countries.
In cooperation with our partner agencies in developing countries, Projects of Promise:
Works with families and communities in strengthening their capacity to exercise greater control of their lives and improve economic and social self-reliance through education, literacy, employment training, health and credit programs.
Undertakes specific health and development projects aimed at the sustainable relief of poverty, homelessness, malnutrition and disease.
Although motivated by Christian values, we at Projects of Promise seek to help any in need regardless of religion, race, gender, age or political persuasion. Together with our overseas partners, we maintain a clear separation of our development and relief activities from any activities involving evangelism and welfare.
Operational Structure
Our operational structure is designed to allow us to have the greatest development and relief impact by using our funds, time and skills where they are needed most and have the biggest impact.
World Relief Australia (WRA) works with Project Management Groups to empower people with passion to serve those in need. WRA provides tax deductibility, ATO/ACNC compliance, audited financials, and project development and review services.
The provision of these functions enables us to focus on our core business of communication with donors, fund raising and in-country project management.
All Projects of Promise donations are receipted by World Relief Overseas Aid Fund.
Projects of Promise is a network of passionate individuals.
We work closely to support in-country partners to deliver education, agriculture and health-related projects in developing countries.
We work in partnership with approved and trusted in-country agencies to conduct our overseas project activities.
