VOLUNTEER

Projects of Promise only exists because of the dedication, passion, and hard work of a large number of volunteers like yourself. No matter your age, stage or abilities, you can empower children and families to step out of poverty and into a brighter future.

Three ways to be involved

1. BUILD, MAINTAIN, TEACH and TRAIN

Join a team traveling to one of our projects, soak up the culture, and be blessed by the joy radiating from the people you are serving. Each Volunteer Trip contains capacity building opportunities to engage in, such as:

  • construction, maintenance and agriculture
  • education, health and hygiene programs
  • staff professional development
  • cultural exchange and English language teaching

Whatever age you are, there is a place for you on a Volunteer Trip.

Please visit the country of your choice for further information.

2. AMBASSADOR

Being an ambassador is all about being passionate about the work that we do, and sharing that passion.

Ambassadors can contribute by:

  • Promoting the work of Projects of Promise to others
  • Arranging opportunities for Projects of Promise guest speakers to present at your church, club group or workplace
  • Creating fundraising events
  • Encouraging others to sponsor a child or support a project
  • Leading service projects
  • Assisting to man a booth at a camp meeting or event
  • Contributing your skills and knowledge by volunteering on our Management Committee
  • Contributing other specialist skills such as database management, project development, and reporting

Ambassadors are trained as required, and provided with relevant promotional and display materials.

If you are 16 years and over and are a sponsor/supporter with a desire to increase your impact for good, you can spread the great news! Projects of Promise is making a positive difference in the lives of children, families and communities. If you are interested in chatting about being an ambassador, please send us a message.
